A cake festival has been organized by the Naples branch of the Jalalabad Association in Naples, Italy. The cake festival was held on Sunday afternoon, February 21 in a hall in San Josesepp, Naples.

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, women, men and children of Naples area also participated in the cake festival in the land of exile. Seeing the colorful bahari pitha and their joy, it seemed like a piece of Bangladesh.

At the beginning of the program, a minute's silence was observed in honor of the martyrs of the Holy Quran recitation and the language movement of '52. Later discussion meetings and prizes were distributed.

Sharaf Uddin, President of Napli Branch of Jalalabad Association presided over the discussion.

Abul Munsur Mohammad Wayez, Chief Adviser, Naples Branch, Jalalabad Association was the chief guest at the function conducted by Syed Abdul Khalik, General Secretary of the organization. Gaus Uddin, Co-President of Jalalabad Association Italy was the special guest.

Among others present were Senior Co-President Abdus Sukur Abdullah, Sanu Mia, Hafizur Rahman Sanu, Co-General Secretary Jubayer Ahmed Jiblu, Organizing Secretary Mujibur Rahman Mujib, Finance Secretary Bulbul Ahmed, Social Welfare Secretary Muminullah Mamun, Office Secretary Jahed Ahmed, Literary Secretary Zafar Ahmed, Women's Affairs Secretary Nadia Khan and others.All the participants in the cake festival were honored with prizes. Nadia Khan, Tanzina Akhter, Ayesha Akhter, Majeda Begum, Syeda Zakia Begum, Hajera Akhter, Mrs. Bulbul, Kulsum Begum, Farzana Akhter, Tayyiba Akhter, Matia Begum Mukti and others received the award.
