Raihan Jamil Bhuiyan wishes on Mujib Year and National Children's Day

Raihan Jamil Bhuiyan, President of Penang Branch of Bangladesh Awami Juba League Malaysia, has sent a message on the occasion of the birth centenary and National Children's Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 17.
Raihan Jamil Bhuiyan called upon all to unite in the spirit of the war of liberation to take the pledge in Mujibvarsa to turn the country into Bangabandhu's golden Bengal and to dedicate the present for the welfare of children to build the golden Bengal of the dream of the father of the nation.
In his message, Raihan Jamil Bhuiyan said, "March 17 is a memorable day in the history of the Bengali nation." This year marks the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the greatest Bengali nation of all time. Bangabandhu is not among us but his ideals are the source of our eternal inspiration. I expect his principles and ideals to be passed down from generation to generation, and a courageous, selfless and idealistic leadership to emerge.
Raihan Jamil Bhuiyan called upon all to dedicate the present for the welfare of the future leadership of the country to build the golden Bengal of the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Raihan Jamil Bhuiyan said, ‘We are committed to ending the unfinished work of the Father of the Nation. Through the implementation of Vision 2021 and 2041 and Delta Plan-2100, we are working relentlessly to build the hunger-poverty-free and happy-prosperous golden Bangladesh of the Father of the Nation's dream. '
Raihan Jamil Bhuiyan said, "The theme of this year's National Children's Day is' Sonar Bangla in Mujibvarsa, new dream in Chhara; It will bring a smile to the baby, the environment of light ”. The period from March 2020 to March 2021 has been declared as "Year of Mujib" to showcase the life and deeds of the Father of the Nation to the people. "Mujib Year" is being celebrated all over the world with the initiative of UNESCO along with Bangladesh. Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib was born on 17 March 1920 in the village of Tungipara in the then Gopalganj subdivision of the then Faridpur district. So we have declared this day as "National Children's Day" by dedicating his birthday to children. "
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman enacted the Children's Act in 1974 and made primary education compulsory. The present government has formulated the National Child Policy-2011, Children's Act-2013 and Child Marriage Prohibition Act-2018 with various development and protection activities.
